CloudFrame named a Rising Star in the 2022 ISG Provider Lens™ Mainframes – Services and Solutions report.

Princeton, New Jersey – A new research report published by Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, named CloudFrame as a Rising Star in the report category of Mainframe Application Modernization Software.

In the report, ISG states that the number and size of modernization projects will significantly increase in the next three years, offers modernization insights, and offers advice on how organizations can prepare for mission-critical mainframe modernization projects.

The ISG report also reveals projections that future mainframe to cloud modernization projects could have a duration of almost ten years. The report states that cloud providers will make heavy investments in automation and quality of mainframe to cloud transformations to address this risk.   In addition, the report identifies many challenges organizations face when they modernize mainframe COBOL applications.

The report summarizes that organizations that modernize their mainframe COBOL applications can improve their access to legacy application systems, leverage information in these legacy systems for advanced analytics and decision systems, improve their business agility, and reduce long-term costs.

As a relatively new COBOL application modernization product provider, CloudFrame appreciates the Rising Star recognition. Our products, CloudFrame’s Relocate and CloudFrame’s Renovate, address the problems and difficulties faced by organizations with the need to modernize their mainframe COBOL applications. Those problems include business risk, rising costs, and long and complex COBOL retirement projects.
